We're glad you are here and are excited to get to know you. You are welcome here at Parkside with open arms and hearts. There are many ways that you can get involved here. Below, we have highlighted a few opportunities where you can get plugged into life here at Parkside.
COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP: Our Church has partnered with the San Angelo Code Compliance Division to help those who are elderly or disabled. We obtain a list of people who have received a code enforcement violation notice and are unable to take care of it themselves. We connect with those on the list and with the city, letting them know that we will do what is needed to correct the violation. We go out once a month on a Saturday morning and take care of everything that is on our list. This is an easy ministry for anyone to jump into and help us as we love the city to Jesus.
CORE GROUPS: These groups are an essential for life here at Parkside. We believe that God is all about relationships--relationships that are both vertical and horizontal. Vertical relationships are the ones that you have with Father God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus. Horizontal relationships are the ones you have with everyone else. We believe that God intended for us to have powerful and meaningful relationships with Him and our neighbors. Core Groups at Parkside are one of the ways we go about plugging people into those meaningful relationships. If you are new to Parkside, we strongly encourage you to get into a Core Group.
